WELCOME

Do you dream of working in film or television?

Would you consider yourself to be both practical and creative?

Do you love making films and posting them on YouTube? Do you watch films and find yourself critiquing them?

If so, a Degree in Moving Image could be the right course for you.

We offer an FdA in Digital Filmmaking. This is a 2 year full time course, which is the equivalent to the first 2 years of a BA (Hons). We also offer a top up year to complete to a full degree BA (Hons) in Creative Media.

We ensure that our students are equipped with the appropriate skills in order to work in the developing media industry. ALL students work  with TV, Advertising and Media industry clients to put them one step ahead when they launch their careers.

Current student projects include creating documentaries for a leading BBC & Channel 4 filmmaker, pitching programme ideas to leading TV production company Electric Ray, and creating adverts for the leading advertising company Saatchi & Saatchi

We offer a friendly and supportive environment with specialist workshops and studios in our top-rated Creative Industries department. We also work collaboratively with other departments so our filmmakers have access to props, costumes, sets and performers.

If you think you might be interested in spending the next 2 to 3 years with us, please get in touch or arrange a visit by contacting Kate Mapes Course Leader on  k.mapes@nbcol.ac.uk or 01903 273274.
